Working at Highland’s Pet Medical Clinic

Located in the Clarksville neighborhood in central Austin, we are a well-established AAHA Accredited veterinary clinic that has been caring for the dogs and cats of Austin since the 1970s. We have wonderful clients who are willing and able to provide the best veterinary care for their pets. We have experienced staff, with our Practice Manager and Lead Technician having worked for Highlands for twenty years each. We pride ourselves on being like family to our clients and coworkers and hope to find another doctor to join our family!

Receptionist

Position Description:

We are looking to add a full-time receptionist to our wonderful staff who are so critical in helping us provide complete and compassionate care to our patients. For this work you will find that our clients will become your friends, their pets will make your day, and you will experience the reward of seeing pets that come in ill and leave feeling better. We expect you to utilize the full scope of your knowledge, training, and effort in your work. Experience is not necessary.
Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • strong work ethic
  • good communication skills with clients, doctors, and co-workers
  • organizational skills to keep the clinic running smoothly and proficiently
Veterinary Technician

Position Description:

We are looking to add a full-time veterinary technician to our wonderful staff who are so critical in helping us provide complete and compassionate care to our patients. For this work you will find that our clients will become your friends, their pets will make your day, and you will experience the reward of seeing pets that come in ill and leave feeling better.
