Accidents happen, but we are here to help.
At Highland’s Pet Medical Clinic, we are here to help you during office hours for your emergencies. After our regular hours, we trust Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital to provide you with high-quality care.
MISHAPS DURING OFFICE HOURS
Most pet health care is preventive, but sometimes emergencies arise. In Texas, that usually involves physical injury/trauma, heat stroke, snake bite, breathing difficulties, or the accidental ingestion of a toxin.
Please call us and explain your pet’s symptoms. Then we can tell you if we are able to assist you or if it would be necessary to refer you to an emergency hospital for more intensive care.
EMERGENCIES AFTER HOURS
When pet emergencies arise after business hours, please contact Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital. The staff there is well-trained in immediate response veterinary procedures and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They will send us a full report the next business day detailing the treatment they provided so we can coordinate whatever follow-up is indicated.
They are located at:
